Simon is a rare breed of packaging industry experts that combines creativity with compliance, to deliver Value Engineered supply chain and packaging solutions that help to build brands and overcome supply chain barriers.

As a graduate in creative arts Simon was drawn into packaging while studying its importance in FMCG brand building during his design degree and has never looked back. Today, Simon uses his expertise and creative talent with clients such as GSK in the design & global implementation of new systems with Accord Healthcare for Supply Chain Optimisation and to deliver on-site Technical Support with Glanbia Nutrition.

Simons roots in Research & Development via hands-on packaging testing and consultancy with Smithers Pira in the UK have enabled him and his colleagues within iDi Pac to apply these learnings to deliver Value Engineering projects for Australian food giant Goodman Fielder’s retail & food service portfolio in addition to Product Development and Supply Chain Optimisation initiatives with Henkel’s personal care division.

Simon is a member of the Institute of Packaging and draws on his career long FMCG experience to ensure integrity of the food value chain by auditing organisations for compliance with BRC Global Standards for Packaging on behalf of the United Kingdom Accreditation Service. A further reflection of his expertise, standing across the industry and ability to provide FMCG solution from concept to launch.

Simon has dual British and Australian citizenship, and while in the northern hemisphere loves leveraging his proximity to Europe to explore new places by bicycle.
