easyFair a Great Success

FEB 2010

We have recently exhibited at easyFairs, at the NEC in Birmingham (24th -25th February).

We had a great show with our stand themed as “tying it all together”. Exhibiting with us on our stand were DigiLeaflet Technologies Ltd, who have a novel technology for the production of patient information leaflets and booklets. Alongside them, Kallik Ltd – the revolutionary automated artwork company, demonstrated their latest product set and finally, a first for us, CSAT Gmbh, the premier digital print company staged and demonstrated their latest pharmaceutical approved “drop on demand” 600 dpi inkjet printer.

Many thanks to the various stand visitors, we hope we will be working with some of you in 2010.

iDi Pac Appointed Official Reseller of Kallik Automated Artwork

JAN 2009

In January 2009 iDi Pac were appointed as an official reseller of the Kallik Automated Artwork generating system; a solution providing fully automated and intelligent artwork management and production. This revolutionary system removes the need for normal Mac-based artwork production, and delivers the significant benefits of flexibility, production speed, and precision for artwork content and layout. Further, it is a system which offers a distinct business advantage in terms of adding value, improving quality, reducing costs, and delivering greater efficiency.

In terms of deployment, the Kallik Automated Artwork generating system significantly facilitates just-in-time (JIT) manufacturing processes, print on line capabilities, and Late Stage Customisation ( an iDi Pac specialisation). It is especially suitable where designs need to be generated and changed often and very quickly i.e. multi-lingual packs for multi-market products and where conforming to changing regulatory requirements are required. It is especially useful in managing “global” artwork changes - as a single change can be reflected immediately across all impacted artworks – and updated automatically.  Such flexibility is particularly valuable in the Agro Chemical, Food, FMCG, Pharmaceuticals and Healthcare sectors. The system easily handles multi language content and associated content management and approvals.
